The Rockridge School District has a new high school principal in the 2025-26 school year.
Sara Baker was hired for the position in February. She officially started at Rockridge on July 1. Baker previously served as dean of students at Moline High School.
She spoke with WRMJ on Monday.
Baker is replacing Katy Hasson, who retired at the end of last school year.
The first day of school in the Rockridge School District is Thursday.
