From smoked brisket to soft-serve ice cream, Brenda Lloyd and the team behind Lloyd’s Chuckwagon are serving up crowd favorites at the 2025 Rock Island County Fair—and putting Reynolds, Illinois, on the culinary map.
Stationed just outside the Copeland Center, the Lloyd’s Chuckwagon trailer is impossible to miss. And once you stop by, you’ll be glad you did. “We brought our smoked brisket, pulled pork, Italian beef, walking tacos—we’ve got a pretty loaded menu,” said Lloyd, who’s known across the area for her successful run of restaurants and unbeatable home-style cooking.
In addition to hearty meals, Lloyd’s also offers baked goods, gyros, hot dogs, and even soft-serve ice cream—making the food truck a one-stop shop for fairgoers hungry for both comfort food and variety.
Lloyd says being a part of the local fair scene is about more than just good food. “It’s incredibly important to support local vendors,” she said. “There’s so much talent in our communities. It’s nice to showcase what people right here at home can do.”
With a reputation built on quality and care, Lloyd’s Chuckwagon continues to stand out—offering a delicious taste of local tradition to fairgoers of all ages.
