Betty R. Wadham, 89 of Aledo, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Mercer Manor Rehabilitation of Aledo. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, May 1, at Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. The Funeral Service will directly follow at 11 a.m. Burial is in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery in New Windsor, Illinois. Memorials may be left to the Fur-Ever Friends or the Messiah Lutheran Church. Betty was born March 13, 1936, in Galesburg, Illinois, a daughter of Arthur and Pearl Peterson Wadham. She graduated from AlWood High School and never married.
She was employed in childcare for several area families in New Windsor and Alpha and retired in 1991 from the Housekeeping Department at the Mercer County Nursing Home in Aledo.
Betty was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aledo, Mercer County Senior Citizens Center, and AARP, and she enjoyed her pets.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
