Mercer County (2-0) used a big second half to defeat Monmouth-Roseville (0-2) 58-43 at the 10 & 32 Tip-Off Classic in Orion Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles trailed 20-19 at halftime but outscored the Titans 39-23 in the second half, including a 16-0 run that spanned the third and fourth quarters which turned a 32-30 deficit into a 46-32 lead.
Brady McPeek poured in a game-high 23 points for the Golden Eagles. Carson Boelens, 11, and Holden DeMuth, 10, were also in double figures for Mercer County.
Ethan Clark scored 15 points for Monmouth-Roseville.
