Rockridge (1-0) cruised past Galva (0-2) 68-36 in its season opener at the ROWVA-Williamsfield/Ridgewood Thanksgiving Tournament Tuesday.
The Rockets jumped out to a 23-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended the advantage to 46-10 at halftime.
Keaten Needham scored a game-high 17 points and Leah DeCook added 12 points for Rockridge.
