Collison Tallies 1,000th Point In MERCO Rout of United

Mercer County senior Lucas Collison scored his 1,000th career point in the Golden Eagles (25-6, 11-0 LTC) 69-32 win over United (16-15, 3-8 LTC) Thursday.

Collison scored 28 points in the win, with 26 coming in the first half. Colby Cox added 10 points for the Golden Eagles.

Mercer County opened the game on a 10-0 run and never trailed. The lead was 47-14 at halftime and 61-22 at the end of the third quarter.

With the win, Mercer County set a program-record for single season wins with 25 and have won 16 games in a row entering the postseason.
