Nathan Dean Seefeld – Services 12/29/23

Nathan Dean Seefeld, 24 of Andover, Illinois, passed away at his home Saturday, December 23, 2023. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 28, at the First Baptist Church in Aledo, Illinois. The funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 29, at the First Baptist Church of Aledo. Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be left to the family where they will designate a charity at a later date. Nathan was born on September 18, 1999, in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Mindy Sue Welch and Nicholas Dean Seefeld. He married Lillian Raylene Parsons on November 5, 2022, in Davenport, Iowa.

He was a member of the Laborers’ Local Union 309. Nathan enjoyed hunting, riding dirt bikes and ATVs, driving his truck, and being with his friends and family, and he loved taking his dog Cash on truck rides. He was quite the entertainer and the “holder of the talking stick.”

Nathan is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Seefeld of Andover; mother, Mindy (Mark McCullough and his children Bre and Cody McCullough) Seefeld of Aledo; father, Nick (Vickie) Seefeld of Aledo; brother, Trace Seefeld of Joy; grandparents, Linda (Howard) Andress of Aledo, and Lindy (Kathy Tweed) Welch of Joy; mother-in-law, Priscilla (Jay) Jones of Andover; father-in-law, Josh (Bobbi Litwiler) Parsons of Bettendorf, Iowa; brother-in law, J.P. Parsons; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his beloved dog, “Cash Big Money.”

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Dean Seefeld; grandmother, Janet Sue Welch; and aunt, Suzette Stephens.
