Some work being done in advance of the Sponsler Manor Third Addition development. The Aledo City Council this week approved spending $24,000 for tree and brush removal near Sponsler Lake says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The first phase of the development would involve 11 lots. The city acquired the property for $215,000.
