Sherrard (9-4) came from behind in the fourth quarter to defeat Mercer County (7-5) 37-26 in girls basketball Monday. After trailing 24-21 at the end of the third quarter, the Tigers outscored the Golden Eagles 16-2 in the fourth.
Violet Meskan led Sherrard with 11 points.
Mercer County’s Sydney Lamkin was the game’s leading scorer with 12 points.
