The Aledo City Council spent some time discussing the ambulance coverage issue this week. A contract between Genesis Ambulance and several fire departments expires at the end of the year, and no provider has bid on a new contract. Interim Aledo Police Chief Trevor Fisk says he’s concerned.
The ambulance coverage involves Aledo, Greene, Joy and Seaton fire protection districts along with City of Keithsburg.
