Mercer County Better Together in conjunction with the Mercer County Internet Initiative will host a Broadband Summit next week. The event is Monday, May 24 at 6 p.m. at the Mercer County VFW. The session will include an unveiling of county broadband data and a preview of the broadband plan for the county. Over the past year, Mercer County Better Together built the Mercer County Internet Initiative – a group dedicated to helping Mercer County become better connected. Of 770 returned surveys in Mercer County, over 65-percent believe there are not sufficient internet service provider choices available at their location.
