Among the TIF projects approved by the Aledo City Council this week includes property purchased by Doherty Brothers Roofing and Home Improvement. The business is planning to renovate a vacant residence on the lot located at 204 SE 6th Street, which will become a retail showroom along with storage areas for construction materials and inventory items says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The council this week also approved a $50,000 TIF incentive package for W.J. Albertson at the former Cooper TV storefront and another $50,000 TIF package for interior renovation work at Mercer County Family Eye Care.
