2019 has resulted in a Mercer County Food Mission being organized. A number of partners have stepped up with the effort including the Mercer County Health Department and Mercer County Mental Health Action Program says Jennifer Hamerlinck.
The mission has also lead to the creation of the Eagles Food and Supply Nest—a cooperative effort within the Mercer County School District to respond to food insecurity issues involving students.
