The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department reporting that a juvenile was injured in a rollover accident near Illinois City that involved a tractor catching fire. The accident occurred this afternoon just after 3 p.m. The juvenile received burns as did the youth’s mother who removed the boy from the fire and then drove to a Muscatine hospital for treatment. The two were then transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City. Names are being withheld at this time. Illinois City and Buffalo Prairie Fire Departments responded to the tractor fire.
