Mercer County looking at dispatching Henderson County 911 calls. Talks are very preliminary says Mercer County Sheriff Dusty Terrill.
The idea was initially brought up prior to last month’s election by former Mercer County Sheriff Dave Staley. Before proceeding, Terrill says he plans to get additional feedback from the Mercer County Emergency Telephone Systems Board as well as the Mercer County Law Enforcement Committee and Mercer County Board.
