For the second time in less than a month, there’s been a farmland auction in western Illinois. Today’s sale involved just over 105 acres in the Alexis area says auctioneer Dale Jones.
Per tillable acre, Jones says the sale equates to $8,840 per acre.
Back on October 10th, farm ground in the Buffalo Prairie area sold for $10,600 per acre.
