The Rockridge Rockets jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t hold on as Alleman plated four runs in the 7th to tie the game and pushed across with winning run in the 9th for a 10-9 victory in non-conference baseball action Wednesday. In other baseball action Bureau Valley beat Annawan-Wethersfield 9-8 and it was Galva over Bushnell-West Prairie 12-3.
In softball action, United Township stopped Sherrard 18-5 in five innings, Riverdale beat Orion 6-2 and Erie-Prophetstown handled 12 Bureau Valley 12-2 in five innings.
In soccer, Moline rallied with three second half goals to beat Orion-Sherrard 3-2.
