Rockridge High School principal Katy Hasson earning recognition from the Illinois Music Education Association. She has been named the organization’s “Outstanding Administrator” says Rockridge choral director Curtis Fischer-Oelschlaeger.
Fischer-Oelschlaeger also tells WRMJ that the Rockridge madrigal singers will be performing the National Anthem at the February 8th University of Illinois basketball game at the State Farm Center when the Fighting Illini take on Rockridge grad Ethan Happ and the Wisconsin Badgers. It marks the second year in a row that the group has sang the National Anthem at an Illinois basketball game.
