The Mercer County Health Department will be offering the Food Service Managers Eight- Hour Sanitation Certification Course later this month. The class will be held on Tuesday, June 13th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mercer County Health Department. All restaurants and retail facilities must employ a certified food service manager that holds this license. This license must be renewed every five years. The health department offers this course in Aledo three times a year. Once in the fall, spring and summer. If your license will expire prior to October (fall date) it is recommended that you take this summer course. More information on the course is available at 582-3759.
