Aledo was hoping to have a housing development annexed into the city, but that won’t happen now. The proposed addition is known as Breezy Acres on the north part of town, west of Sponsler Lake. An update from Mayor Chris Hagloch.
Another proposed housing development has been put on hold because of inflationary pressures. The Sponsler Manor, Third Addition in the northeast part of town involves 43-lots over three phases. A start date for the project is unclear at this time.
