The Mercer County deer harvest for all seasons totals 1,465, which is less than last year’s total of 1,546. The numbers include archery, youth, firearm, muzzleloader and late winter CWD seasons. Statewide, the total harvest was just over 153,000 says Rachel Torbert with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
Numbers total 806 in Henderson; 992 in Henry; 2,258 in Knox; 1,376 in Rock Island & 768 in Warren County.
Pike County had largest deer harvest this year at 4,387 followed by Fulton County at 4,024 and again the numbers include archery, youth, firearm, muzzleloader and late winter CWD seasons.
