Kyle Chandler has been named Rockridge High School girls basketball coach.
Chandler was officially hired last week at Rockridge’s June District Board of Education meeting. He’s previously coached both junior high girls and boys basketball at Rockridge and spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach for the Rockets’ boys basketball program.
He replaces Ryan McDonald, who stepped down after six seasons leading the Rockridge girls basketball program last month.
Chandler is a 2008 Aledo High School graduate.
