Mercer County (21-6) won the Lincoln Trail Conference Tournament for the second straight season, defeating Princeville (23-3), 56-44, in the championship game Saturday in Aledo.
The Golden Eagles never trailed in the game. Mercer County led 12-7 at the end of the first quarter and 26-15 at halftime. The Golden Eagles held a 13-point advantage at the end of the third quarter, 38-25.
Lucas Collison scored a game-high 19 points for Mercer County.
Tayshaun Kieser had 17 points in the loss for the Princes.
Mercer County has won back-to-back LTC Tournament titles and will leave the league for the Three Rivers Athletic Conference next school year.
