- Costume contest at Rocky’s Sturgeon Bay Inn in New Boston. 12 noon Saturday, December 9th. Arrive in costume (Dress how you think a WWE wrestler looks! Have fun with it!)the crowd will vote with dollars. All money goes to Mercer County Relay For Life. At least 4 pairs of tickets will be awarded to those in costume! C’mon let’s have some laughs and beat cancer!
Two groups of people will be needed for an event at Rocky’s Sturgeon Bay Inn in New Boston at noon on Sat., December 9 – those who want to enter a costume contest and those who will vote for the winners!
WRMJ is joining with Rocky’s to raise money for Mercer County Relay for Life with a Wrestling Costume Contest. Top winners get tickets to the WWE Holiday Tour at Vibrant Arena in Moline on December 16. We also need people to bring their dollars and vote for the best wrestling costume, $1 = 1 vote. All of the money goes to Mercer County Relay for Life.
This event will be a fun way to help those who are dealing with a cancer diagnoses and those who have a family member or friend fighting cancer. Cancer affects all of us. That’s why we hope you will join us and either dress up like a wrestler or kick back and root for your favorite contestant with your dollars.
If you know someone who would make a great contestant – email terryjames@wrmj.com. There is no age restriction (must be 21 to drink alcohol), and this is a family friendly event. You do not need to pre-register as a contestant, but you absolutely can. Plan to be at Rocky’s Sturgeon Bay Inn In New Boston on Dec. 9th, have a chance to win tickets, and help fight cancer!
