Two Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault charges have been filed against a Viola man. 50 year old Robert W. Breshears Jr. has posted 10-percent of $250,000 bond. A first appearance/preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 15. The charges are in connection with alleged incidents involving a female between the ages of 13 and 18. Breshears is being represented by Rock Island attorney Art Winstein.
