Former Rockridge head coach Andy Saey and the United Township Panthers (11-4, 3-1 Western Big 6) beat Rockridge (11-5, 2-1 TRAC West) 59-40 in East Moline Friday.
UT never trailed in the game, but the Rockets tied it at 15 late in the first half. The Panthers scored the final four points of the second quarter to lead 19-15 at halftime and opened the second half on a 12-2 run to pull away.
Jasiah Massey netted a game-high 18 points for UT. Connor Pustelnik added 14 in the win.
Landon Bull led Rockridge with 14 points and Landon Wheatley had 10.
The Rockets had a seven-game winning streak snapped with the loss.
