A local school administrator will begin his new job with the Illinois High School Association next month. Chris Schwarz will serve as IHSA Assistant Executive Director starting July 1. He is replacing the retiring Kurt Gibson. Schwarz had been working as United High School principal. He spoke with WRMJ last January after the IHSA made the announcement on his hiring.
Schwarz grew up in the Quad Cities, where he graduated from Moline High School. He completed his undergrad work at Monmouth College.
