Eight days out from the election and early voting continues. In Mercer County, around 1,600 people have already cast ballots. There are approximately 13,000 registered voters in the county, according to Mercer County Clerk Brian Gerber. Early voting takes place at the Mercer County Courthouse.
On Election Day, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In Mercer County, there are ten polling places:
- Mercer precincts 1-through-6 vote at the Mercer County VFW.
- North Henderson and Suez precincts vote at Floral Hall in North Henderson.
- The polling place for Richland Grove 1, 2, and 3 is at the Sherrard Fire Station.
- Greene 1 and 2 will vote at the Viola Community Center.
- Preemption 1 and 2 voters will cast ballots at the new Matherville Fire Station on Election Day.
- Ohio Grove, Abington Township, and Keithsburg residents will vote at the Seaton Fire Station.
- Perryton and Duncan townships will vote at the Perryton Township Building.
- The polling place for New Boston Township and Eliza Township is at New Boston Township Hall.
- Rivoli Township voters will go to Rivoli Township Hall in New Windsor.
- The Millersburg Township polling place is at the Millersburg Township building in Joy.
