Sherrard Youth Headed To National Rodeo Competition

A Sherrard High School freshman to be will be riding and roping beginning this weekend at the National Junior High School Rodeo A  14-year-old Kade Foster is a two time NJHSRA qualifier and a two time qualifier for the Little Britches Rodeo Association Nationals.  Kade is also the2019 Illinois State Boy’s Breakaway and Team Roping Champion. Foster started competing at age five when the family lived in Texas.  He will be competing in Breakaway, Team Roping, Chute Dogging and Goat Tying as he explains.

The nationals will be held in Huron, South Dakota.
