Clarence “Scoob” Howard of Keithsburg stopped by the WRMJ studios to talk about the recent cornhole tournament. The tournament was held at the Keithsburg Fire Department and trophies were awarded to the winners. Money raised at the event is going towards a new firetruck that is needed for the department.
Howard spoke about the need for people to sign up to be a local volunteer firefighters. Many local fire departments have been struggling to find volunteers. He encouraged young people in Mercer County to help their communities by going through the training to become a firefighter.
WRMJ also found out Howard is not much of a cook, but he can flip a pancake!
