The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a warning about a phone scam. The sheriff’s office says scammers are calling people and saying they’ve missed jury duty and that they must pay a fine. Scammers are also claiming to be from the sheriff’s office and are spoofing the sheriff’s office phone number.
