The Rockridge Schools Foundation honored a pair of “Rock Stars” at their first annual THANKSgiving Celebration fundraiser Thursday night. The fundraiser is to support educational needs for Rockridge schools. Glen Cook and AugE Kerres were recognized for their years of service to the district. Cook says he gets more from the district than he gives back.
Kerres says it’s the community that makes Rockridge and the area special.
In addition to the event, teachers from the elementary, junior high, and high schools presented a showcase of projects done in their classrooms.
