Rockridge (18-3, 9-0 TRAC West) beat Sherrard (16-4, 5-2 TRAC West), 41-40, at Harry Hunt Gymnasium Friday.
The Rockets opened the game on an 8-1 run and never trailed in the contest. Sherrard cut the deficit to one point five separate times but never tied the game or took the lead.
Landon Bull scored 11 points to lead Rockridge.
Sherrard’s James Blackwell was the game’s leading scorer with 12 points.
Rockridge has won 39 of its last 40 TRAC games.
