Riverdale defeated Sherrard 55-47 on the road on Thursday to remain undefeated girls basketball.
The Rams (7-0, 2-0 TRAC West) led 12-11 at the end of the first quarter and never trailed in the final three quarters of the game. Riverdale scored the first seven points of the second quarter and held a 22-18 advantage at halftime. The Rams extended their lead to 40-31 at the end of the third quarter and pushed the advantage to as many as 14 in the fourth.
Cayleigh Hungate poured in 29 points to lead Riverdale in the win. Jillian Murray added 12 points for the Rams.
Adalynn Elsbury paced Sherrard (3-3, 1-1 TRAC West) with 16 points.
