The Mercer County Fair Board President has plenty of good things to say about the late Spike Heck. A tractor ride honors his contributions to the event. Rita Williams says it’s a fitting tribute.
The “Ride 4 the Heck of it” is Saturday morning, beginning with registration at 8 a.m. at the fairgrounds. $25 donations are being accepted with proceeds benefiting the fair.
Heck died in Sept. 2021.
