The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Red Flag Warning FOR extreme fire conditions, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * Timing...Noon to 8pm. * Winds...South 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * Relative Humidity...As low as 30 percent. * Temperatures...65 to 70. * GFDI...Extreme. * Impacts...Fires will easily and quickly get out of control and spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, .or will shortly.
