Fire Weather Watch Monday For WRMJ Listening Area

FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
EASTERN IOWA, NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for Extreme Fire Conditions, which is in effect
from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

* Timing...Noon to 7pm.

* Winds...South 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 30 percent.

* Temperatures...In the upper 60s.

* GFDI...Extreme.

* Impacts...If these conditions develop...fires will easily and
  quickly get out of control and spread rapidly. Outdoor burning
  would not be recommended.
