Patricia A. Stancliff, 81 of Aledo, IL, died Friday, December 9, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Services are 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery. She was born January 1, 1941 in Aledo to William, Sr. and Fern Brown Brock. Pat attended Warren County schools and graduated from Keithsburg High School. She attended Burlington Beauty School. Pat married Mike Johnston and later married C.W. “Red’ Stancliff July 14, 1963 in Aledo.
Pat owned and operated “The Best Little Hairhouse in Aledo” for 33 years, retiring in 2021.
She is survived by her husband, Red; three daughters, twins, Merri (Jeffery) Eklund of Livingston, TX, and Terri Shampine of Newhall, CA, and Susan (Alan) Parkinson of Aledo; one son, Kyle Stancliff of Cocoa, FL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Candy (John) Swank of Aledo and Sandra (Bob) Cook of Viola; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Angelina Joy; one sister, Francie Howard; and two brothers, Ronnie and William “Topper” Brock, Jr.
