Out Of State Man Pleads Not Guilty To Charges In Viola Disturbance

A Tennessee man remains in the Mercer County Jail on $40,000 bond charged with Class 3 felonies of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and theft over $500. 50 year old Gary Lothridge   was arrested in late December following a disturbance in Viola where another man was stabbed. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Lothridge appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court Monday where he waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to the charges. A pre-trial conference is set for February 10th.
