New Windsor among 40 Illinois communities being awarded a Community Development Block Grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity for public infrastructure work. The $450,000 in funding will be used for sewer hook-ups for low to moderate income residents. The grant was announced today.
