More details involving the future of the former Mercer Carnegie Library site. Mackenzi Lafferty with the group Lead For America spoke at Tuesday’s Aledo Main Street Networking at Noon event. She is working with W.J. Albertson, who acquired the property in October of 2019.
The Aledo City Council approved extending up to $50,000 in TIF funding for Albertson to renovate the building in May. That project is currently underway.
