More information released on a criminal sexual assault investigation conducted by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. Bond has been set at $50,000 for 30 year old Eric Maurice Thirtyacre of rural Aledo. He was arrested Tuesday and officially charged Wednesday with Class 1 and Class 2 felonies in connection with an incident involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 17. Thirtyacre remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail. He made his initial appearance in Mercer County Circuit Court late Wednesday morning with a status hearing set for June 27th.
