Mercer County (8-0) clubbed Bushnell-Prairie City (0-6) 27-2 in four innings on the road in softball Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles plated 15 runs in the top of the first inning. Natalie Thomson went 4-5 with a home run and six RBI in the win. Payton Ruggles and Jayden Weeks also hit homers in the win.
Elsie Cook earned the win in the pitcher’s circle after throwing two scoreless innings.
