The Mercer County School District is anticipating an impact on the courses available at the high school following the elimination of 25 positions from the district earlier this week.
As part of a district-wide cost-saving move, Mercer County High School will lose a math teacher, an ag teacher, and an English teacher next school year.
Interim Mercer County School District Superintendent Alan Boucher says that it will likely lead to some courses being discontinued.
Boucher did not indicate which courses would be affected.
