The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded to a couple of rollover accidents this past weekend. Both occurred Sunday. One was in the 1600 block of 80th Avenue, Aledo where a car was found on its top in a nearby field. The driver and passenger were both transported to the hospital for their injuries.
The other was in the 2800 block of 140th Avenue, Sherrard where a truck was found on its top north of the road. The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed. A juvenile passenger was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
