The Sherrard School District set to hire a new assistant principal at the high school.
Andrea Cooper is being recommended for the position. Her name is on Wednesday night’s Sherrard School Board agenda. Cooper currently serves as Mercer County High School principal.
The assistant principal job at Sherrard High School opened up when Alex Johnson was promoted to principal. He is replacing Tim Wernentin, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
