The Mercer County Board has selected a new auditor. Chairman Carlos Sarabasa of Aledo says it’s always good to have a new set of eyes looking at the county’s financial numbers.
Carpentier-Mitchell-Goddard & Company out of Moline is being replaced by Eide Bailly. The county’s fiscal year runs from December 1 to November 30.
