Just one Aledo City Council race is contested in next Tuesday’s consolidated election. In Ward 2, Linda Sarabasa and Rob Maynard are seeking the open seat.
In Keithsburg, there are two contested city council races. In Ward 2, Harold Litwiler is running against Lisa Wessels and in Ward 3, Ronnie Brock and Jamie Malcom are the two candidates.
And next Tuesday in Joy, there are six candidates running for three village board seats—Elaine Anderson, Lesley Sheriff, Rory Conway, James Campbell, Katherine Stanford, Larry Hunt and Audrey Bryant.
