For the second straight year, Mendota will represent the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) in the IHSA Class 1A Boys Soccer State Finals.
The Trojans (24-4-0) beat Quincy Notre Dame (6-16-3) 2-1 at home in the super-sectional on Monday.
Mendota will play Coal City (23-3) in the state semifinals in Hoffman Estates on Thursday.
The Trojans took home the third-place trophy last season.
