The Mercer County Housing Authority is now taking applications for its Section 8 housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List. The Section 8 Housing Voucher program provides rental assistance for low-income families who qualify by meeting income requirements. Applicants are subject to a criminal background check. Families and individuals 18 and older may pick up an application at the Mercer County Housing Authority Office at Vashti Village at 609 NW 4th Avenue, Aledo, now through Monday, May 2nd, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
